Live Liner has Penn’s ‘baitrunner’ mechanism and the combination of this free spool system together the legendary strength of the Spinfisher model gives you a tough performing reel which is equally at home on both boat and shore. The Spinfisher VI version adds Penn’s latest four position live liner lever which progressively increases the free spool drag pressure. This comes factory set but a tool is included to adjust the settings if you wish.
This reel boasts Penn’s IPX5 Water Tight design, which thoroughly protects it from the ingress of water to the gearbox or drag system; take care of it and it will handle anything the sea throws at it. Combined with a powerful yet efficient retrieve ratio, 5+1 bearings to render its function silky smooth, and a number of smart additions like capacity-indicator guide-lines on the spool and a rubber spool-gasket to hold braided lines without slipping.
